We were so delighted with the accommodation at Stable cottage, it went far beyond our expectations as we arrived on 23rd Dec and there was a lovely Christmas tree, decorations and homemade mince pies & cream. The hosts went above and beyond with the addition of toiletries and treats. The furniture, decor and beds linens were high quality as was all the kitchen equipment. Couldn’t fault our stay and would like to visit in the summer months when we could explore the hills of neighbouring Dartmoor.

Outstanding cottage , location and value for money . A great fisherman's village in a Beautiful area . Polperro is such a lovely place . The locals are very friendly and welcoming . Some of the meals we had in different cafés/ Restaurants were excellent . Lovely coastal and wood walks around . If you go you'll love every minute .

Delightful location but somewhat isolated. Furnishing and linens of good quality, equipment needs updating. Fireplace easy to use and very welcome. Bathroom a learning experience. Beautiful views and excellent parking. An unusual and enjoyable cottage.

Having stayed in numerous holiday cottages over many years, The Barn was the most comfortable and and well-appointed, luxurious holiday cottage that we've ever stayed in. It offers everything we could have wished for and more, it certainly deserves it's 5-star rating. Anna and Chris are so welcoming and offer many hints as to eateries and local places of interest. For example, we enjoyed a great evening and meal at the Farmers Arms at Woolsery, an excellent pub restaurant, serving high quality food, with a good wine list. The idyllic rural location of The Barn has to be the icing on the cake. We will certainly be returning.

The Linhay is a beautiful north Devon retreat perfect for families and four-legged friends. It is exceptionally well presented, perfectly clean and super relaxing. We would highly-recommend it as a perfectly relaxing getaway. We will most definitely be returning…..soon!

A different type of accommodation, in its own large enclosed space. Quiet, remote, but close enough to pubs and a retail park for those essentials. There are a few good pubs 10-15 mins drive away that offer sit down meals, but the one in the village is booked well in advance, so take this into consideration if you are planning to eat there. The Mad Hatter does a pretty good carvery on a Sunday (We booked a table there and it does get very full). The WIFI was good and the Bluetooth audio supplied was also good. The accommodation itself was very clean and the pictures on the booking site are accurate. In summary we really enjoyed our stay at the Yurt and will be returning at some point.

We stayed at the Bowhay Shepherd's hut, Devon. We stayed last year and came back again this year. It sits in the most beautiful location on a hill with stunning views. The attention to detail in the accommodation and outside areas is second to none. The hot tub is superb too. If you're after a peaceful get away from it all, this is the venue for you. We love this place and look forward to visiting again in future!

Bay Tree Cottage was a wonderfully homely cottage in a very peaceful position. Very warm and comfortable. Would recommend it if you are looking for a cozy week away .
